By misting we reduce sudden production stops

Textile humidification

Textile industry - Humidity and yarns

The humidification of industrial environments is of great importance for the purposes of operational continuity and the quality of textile production. Spinning and weaving use high-speed looms and machinery. In order to maintain adequate performance, it is essential to proceed with the adiabatic humidification of the rooms and of the raw material, using professional humidifiers, capable of measuring and maintaining the correct environmental parameters. Considering the significant size of the volumes involved, it is necessary to resort to humidifiers for large rooms, which raise the air humidity to the most appropriate values

The Natural Cool humidification systems allow automation, precision control and efficiency. Using special misting nozzles it is possible to act by keeping the air humidity within the parameters required by the processed product. In this way, the material of which the yarns are made has the correct elasticity, weight and tear resistance and can be processed by the machinery for spinning wool or cotton without interruption, at high speeds. The hosiery and knitwear factories need relative humidity values equal to or higher than 75% to allow the looms to work at high speeds without breaking the thinner yarns. With the correct humidity value in the working environment, performance is guaranteed continuously

Solutions in the textile industry

The staff can devote themselves solely to the production phases without having to deal with loom stops due to breakage of the yarns or the wefts of the fabrics. The correct air humidity also allows the reduction of electrostatic charges with the benefit and reduction of the volatility of the yarn powders, which can affect the quality and purity of the semi-finished products produced in the adjacent rooms. The problem of electrostatic charges is often felt in the textile manufacturing of hosiery and tights and wherever synthetic materials are used

Textile humidification

Industrial humidification - Technologies

Textile factories have spaces that can differ in location and size; this requires dynamic management of the air humidification systems. Cold humidifiers, for example, must nebulize with regulated cyclic timing, in order to avoid wetting products or parts of machinery. The electronics with remote control and web interface allow precise control, even remotely, of the operating parameters and maintenance

The temeprature reduction

Textile humidification

Room humidification has another great advantage: the reduction of the temperature. When the evaporative passage takes place, the water droplets change into relative humidity and remove heat from the environment. This reduces the temperature in the production environment which is often overheated in the summer by the machinery itself and by some process phases. The benefits of correct cold steam adiabatic humidification are therefore: operational continuity without machine downtime, processing speed, quality of the yarn and fabrics, reduction of electrostatic charges and the volatility of lint dust, and finally the reduction of temperatures in the ‘work environment.
