Wood is a living material, oak barrels and all wooden barrels and the smallest barriques have a life of their own. Like any “living” material, they need correct and constant humidification. As long as the wood is young, the need for moisture is present but less evident, but the passing of the years reveals the need for it. This is a limitation that is increasingly felt in modern cellars, which are often not underground but located in industrial buildings more exposed to the air and less isolated
What happens without the correct humidity?
The first consequence of an over-ventilated environment is dryness. In fact, wooden barrels require a relative humidity value that is always higher than 80%. In the absence of this value, humidification is necessary, to prevent excessively dry wood from drawing the necessary humidity from its interior, absorbing the precious wine it contains. In addition to a quantitative loss, this also entails the need for topping up, and therefore the risk of a non-ideal modification of the original state of the product
The solution is in high pressure spraying

Easy to assemble and manage
Natural Cool misting systems consist of a pressurization unit that compresses tap water and dissipates it into the environment through special micrometric nozzles. The pipes can be made in AISI304 steel, copper or polyamide for high pressures. Easy to position and connect, they can be assembled in a short time even by internal staff. It is sufficient to have a point in which to position the high pressure pump, where there is a water and electricity connection, and from here proceed with the thin high pressure pipe. Once the required humidity value has been set, the probe will automatically adjust the functioning of the system, which will emit the nebulization only when the desired threshold is reached
